The problem

Ideas are cheap. Turning them into structured work — with clear goals, priorities, planning hierarchy, and actual momentum — is the hard part. Most project tools assume you already know what you want to build. Project Foundry starts from the idea itself.

What’s being built

A platform that combines AI-assisted project architecture with a full planning hierarchy (epics, features, stories), artifact management, MCP server integration, multi-project workspaces, and billing infrastructure. The current direction makes Architect a flagship intelligence layer that adapts to project type and timeline, adds AI-generated visuals and diagrams, keeps milestones and timelines alive as work changes, turns Forge into a focused software-development workspace inside Foundry, and introduces Recenter to recover projects that drift, bloat, or stall. Used internally to manage every Darminsky project — including this website.

Latest update

Core planning, artifact, assistant, and MCP workflows are live and run every Darminsky project. Direction is sharpening around Architect as a flagship intelligence layer, AI-generated visuals, a dedicated Forge development workspace, and Recenter for projects that drift.

A big stretch of building since the spring. darminsky.ca grew from a read-only showcase into something you can actually engage with: follow a project, like it, or leave a comment — all email-based, no accounts. The newsletter loop is now real end-to-end, with an admin composer, AI-assisted drafting, and a tokenized preference center so anyone can manage exactly what we send them. Under the hood, Project Foundry's direction sharpened around Architect, AI visuals, and a dedicated Forge workspace.
